Supercharge Your Mornings!

It’s officially 2025! New Year’s resolutions in full swing. The excitement of a new year abounds, but maybe you find yourself sluggish, tired, and not really excited to get going in the morning. Many times I find that the things I do throughout the day make all the difference for my mornings.

Here are a few ways you can supercharge your mornings and get ready for your most productive days ahead!

  1. Stop hitting snooze! Look, I get it! My mornings often start at 3 or 4 a.m. in order to fit everything in. Hitting snooze on a day I need to be productive has never helped me reach my goals.
  2. Drink water first thing in the morning! I know, I know… the coffee calls your name! But before you indulge in the caffeine, drink at least 8 ounces of water. Drinking water upon waking gives me that fresh start feeling for the day!
  3. Start working out right away. As a working mom of 3 busy kids, there are two chores always calling my name: dishes and laundry! Can anyone relate? I often find myself delaying my workout if I start on these other chores first. Get your workout done, then focus on the rest of your day!
  4. Reflect on your night before. Are you getting 7-8 hours of sleep? New moms, perhaps not, but it should be the goal as our babies allow us the time to rest! Sleep equals recovery and our bodies need to recover!

Most of all, create a morning routine you love and look forward to! That includes everything from finding a workout you love to drinking water out of your favorite cup!
